The DJI Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal for the GoPro HERO3 & HERO3+
is a 2-axis brushless gimbal for the GoPro HERO3 or HERO3+ action
camera. It allows you to shoot ultra-smooth aerial footage with your
GoPro HERO3. It features a lightweight aluminum alloy design and a
built-in IMU module. The Zenmuse H3-2D inherited the core algorithm from
the Zenmuse Z15 gimbal, and it's compatible with multiple DJI flight
control systems. Its functionality can be updated through firmware
upgrades as well.
- 2-Axis Brushless Gimbal

The Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal is designed for the GoPro HERO3 or
HERO3+. It's widely used in film and television productions, advertising
aerial photography, etc. Even if the aircraft is in high-speed flight,
it can still stabilize and control the GoPro camera precisely with the
highest stability. The precision of control angle is within the range of
±0.08°, so picture or video output can reach the best quality.
- Customized for GoPro HERO3

The H3-2D gimbal supports remote start/stop shooting and video
transmission (video downlink required) for the GoPro HERO3. More
features will be supported by future firmware upgrades.
- Compatible with DJI Flight Control Systems

The H3-2D gimbal is compatible with DJI flight control systems.
It can adjust the roll and pitch angle according to the accurate control
of the Gimbal feedback and communicate with the MC in real-time. It
supports WooKong-M, NAZA-M V1, NAZA-M V2, and Phantom. It will also
support Ace One, WooKong-H, and NAZA-H. It doesn't support NAZA-M LITE
and in order to work with the Phantom, an upgraded kit is required. The
kit itemcode number is DJUPGRADEKIT and it is available from B&H.
- Core Technology Inherited from the Zenmuse

The H3-2D gimbal inherited the core algorithm from the Zenmuse
Z15 gimbal and the unmanned aircraft flying attitude stability control
algorithm. Combined with the high precision sensors and brushless
motors, the DJI Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal provides pixel level stabilized
footage.
- Independent IMU Module

The independent high-precision IMU module provides precise
attitude data and the closed-loop control gives improved control
accuracy. Without the requirement of complex installation and connection
of many wires, it is also easy to assemble and remains stable when in
flight.
- Lightweight Aluminum Design

The aluminum alloy material and innovative mechanical design
makes the gimbal lightweight. It weighs only 8.1 oz with the GoPro HERO3
attached. The structural design of the aluminum frame guarantees the
strength of the gimbal.
- Works with Phantom & Flame Wheel

The mechanical design, weight, and power supply will match the
Phantom and Flame Wheel perfectly. The Phantom transmitter can be easily
upgraded to give the pitch (tilt) control function of the gimbal, with a
customized slider. No additional receiver channels are needed; it just
uses the additional MC channels.
