Profi mc 4000

The PROFI mc 4000 has been the showpiece of the MULTIPLEX
range of transmitters for more than ten years. The experience
which we gained with the PROFI mc 3030, a system
which has gained almost legendary status, was exploited to the
full in the development of this transmitter. Here are just a few of
its features:

Describing all the capabilities of this transmitter within a catalogue
is simply not possible. We have therefore decided to concentrate
on just a few of the many expansions and additional
features which make the PROFI mc 4000 one of the worldΆs
most powerful transmitters, and explain them in greater detail.

- Auto-trim trim settings are automatically stored when you switch flight modes

- Servo monitor simultaneously shows the servo travels on-screen for all functions

• Scanner with Channel-Check

The whole frequency band can be scanned and the results displayed on-screen in bar graph form.
To use Channel-Check (power-on guard) you first use the menu to select the channel to be checked.
If “your” channel is already in use, a warning appears on the screen, and the RF module remains switched off.

• Twelve channels

All twelve channels are of equal value, equally fast and have the same resolution; there are no restrictions on channels 10

- 12. All the PROFI mc 4000Άs mixer and adjustment facilities can be applied in full to these channels. The transmitter is switchable to cope with 7-, 9- and 12-channel receivers,
which means that the transmitter can be used with all older MPX receivers as well as the latest types.


• Five flight modes

Five different flight modes are available for fixed-wing model aircraft and helicopters. A smooth transition can be set when switching from one to another; the period is variable
within the range 0 to 10 seconds.


• Fixed-wing model settings

The following prepared mixers are available:

• elevator and V-tail with compensation inputs

• flaperon, butterfly (crow), snap-flap, Quadro

• delta / flying wing

• Helicopter settings

The following functions are available:

• swashplate with mechanical mixers

• 3-point swashplate with 120° linkage

• 4-point swashplate with 90° linkage

• Heim system

• collective pitch curve

• virtual swashplate rotation

• flare

• tail rotor mixer (Revo-Mix)

• throttle curve with limiter and direct throttle

All curves can be set up using 3 - 13 points. Graphic screen displays make it easy to set curves correctly.
