The
Calmato 40 Sports is the perfect introduction to low-wing flight. The
model delivers the excellent stability that is typical of large 40 size
trainers. In addition, assembly has been simplified with no gluing
required, with details such as the fuel tank being supplied with all
piping pre fitted. The Calmato 40 is not only an excellent choice for
beginners, but also makes an excellent second airplane for experienced
fliers. The model provides ultra-stable take-off and landing
characteristics and can fly all basic aerobatic manoeuvres with ease.
The Calmato 40 Sports features:
Tricycle undercarriage provides exceptional take-off and landing stability.
Tyres are supplied pre fitted.
Performs all basic aerobatics and has excellent stall characteristics.
Factory assembled kit includes balsa main fuselage pre-covered in film.
No epoxy or gluing required. Left/right main wings are connected with a metal pin and fixed with tape.
Tail wing is secured simply by screwing in two bolts.
Rudder horns and linkage pipes are all installed.
Factory assembled fuselage also has difficult to manage fuel tank lines installed.
Engine bay has been pre-painted in glow fuel resistant paint for extra durability.
Open engine bay gives great access for maintenance.
