RB SpeedLine Matrix RW .12 Engine Κινητήρας (RC)

RB has released the ultimate high-competition racing line a few months ago for rc cars. The RB SpeedLine engines use the most exclusive technology to reach the highest level of performance. The RB SpeedLine engines have a brand new crankcase, lighter and stifter with a new innovative engine mount design, including the exclusive in-line design! This exclusive shape shifts the RB Speedline to a new edge of performance! Without any extra heavy and ugly stiffer, this modern crankcase provides high performance, consistence and reliability. You already knew the SpeedLine Xenon. Now here's the brand new .12 RB SpeedLine Matrix. The Matrix R version can be used under EFRA regulations. Its crankshaft offers a better gas flow thanks to the red insert used in it.


Crankcase
Designing a light and rigid modern crankcase was the main focus of Rody Roem when he designed the RB SpeedLine Matrix. This crankcase features the RB SpeedLine exclusive in-line engine mount avoiding hugely and heavy extra stiffer. This case is made with the most advanced aluminium and use the latest technologies developed by its R&D department.

Porting
If you look carefully at the shape of the 3 transfers in the crankcase, you can notice the presence of a small separator in the middle of the side-ports, this separator increases the speed of the gas-flow just before entering in the cylinder for a better filling. The porting is made to fit perfectly with the porting of the liner. Note the additional work on top of the main bearing, both side of the front port.

Piston Liner
The 3-Port sleeve has been re-ported to improve the gas-flow inside the combustion chamber. This work is made by hand to obtain an highest level of quality. All the intake ports are controlled and adjusted to obtain the best efficiency possible of the gas-flow. A CNC machined piston is being used : it fits with precision in the sleeve to get the best performances and a long life!

Conrod
The conrod is manufactured using a special strong and high quality aluminum and checked by ultrasound. With its special "knife" shape, the weight is reduced to increase the accelerations at low rpm and to optimize the internal gas-flow. Due to the two bushings in bronze, the conrod is perfectly lubricated, even if the engine is working under heavy racing conditions.

Crankshaft
The new specially shaped RB SpeedLine crankshaft receive a hand made insert to improve balance and gaz flow. A careful and meticulous modification is made to the crankshaft to improve the gas-flow respecting the EFRA rules.

Bearings
The RB SpeedLine MATRIX R use a all new 12mm main bearing : the diameter has been increased to reach the highest level of stability on the crankshaft.

Cooling-head
The RB SpeedLine MATRIX R orange cooling-head provides to the RB SpeedLine MATRIX R a real Champion's look ! This low and wide head insure high colling and low wheigt to decrease over-rolling.

Carburetor
The carburetor of the RB SpeedLine MATRIX R is a composite type(nylon, aluminum, steel) for more stable and easy adjustments. The nylon isolates the heat coming up from the engine to the fuel so vapor lock is avoided. The steel under-ring avoids the deformation of the base of the carburetor and also avoids possible gripping of the carburetor in the crankcase of the engine.

Glowplug
The TURBO type glow-plug delivered with this MATRIX R engine is specially adapted for this type of engine.
