The Ultrafly Spear EDF 69 is a new extremely sleek high performance
electric ducted fan aircraft designed for experienced pilots due to the
potential 120mph top speed. The fuselage/fin/nacelle is supplied one
piece, fully moulded from GRP with a generous battery bay to allow the
fitment of larger packs. Wings are traditional built up structure fully
sheeted with ailerons top hinged with covering to provide a sealed
surface. The Spear utilises elevons for control and we would recommend
a radio with mixing is utilised.
The included 69mm 5 blade ducted fan unit is suitable for various motor
types and KV ratings. Ultrafly recommend 3500kv on a 4S and 2400kv on a
6S LiPo. Maximum performance will be achieved with high voltage setups.
