SkyRC IMAX e6680 AC/DC Charger.
The e6680 features a function that will reduce the current towards the
end of the charge to avoid over-charging (Li** only). Especially for
Lithium batteries, it can prevent overcharging which may lead to an
explosion due to an incorrect input. It will terminate the charge
automatically and sound an alarm if it detects any malfunction. In each
program, the battery conditions are monitored and controlled to achieve
the maximum safety. All settings can be configured by the user.
Internal independent lithium battery balancerThe e6680 employs an individual cell voltage balancer.
Balancing individual cells battery dischargingDuring
the process of discharging, e6680 will monitor and balance each cell of
the battery individually. An error message will be shown, and the
process will be ended
automatically if the voltage of any single cell is abnormal.
Adaptable to various type of lithium batteryThe e6680 includes programs for various types of Lithium batteries, such as Li-ion, LiPo and the new LiFe series of batteries.
Fast and storage mode of lithium batterySub-programs
offer different charge states for LiPo batteries. "Fast charge" reduces
the duration of charging, whereas ΅storeΆ state will control the final
voltage of your
battery to a pre-determined value, ideal for long-term storage.
Maximum safetyDelta-peak
sensitivity: The automatic charge termination program is based on the
principle of the Delta-peak voltage detection. When the battery's
voltage exceeds the
threshold, the process will be terminated automatically.
Automatic charging current limitYou
can set up the upper limit of the charging current when charging your
NiCd or NiMH battery; it is useful for NiMH batteries of low impedance
and capacity in the
'AUTO' charging mode.
Capacity limitThe
charging capacity is always calculated as the charging current
multiplied by time. If the charging capacity exceeds the limit, the
process will be terminated
automatically when you set the maximum value.
Temperature threshold*The
batteryΆs internal chemical reaction will cause the temperature of the
battery to rise. If the temperature limit is reached, the process will
be terminated. *
This function is available by connecting optional temperature probe, which is not included in our package.
Processing time limit:You can also limit the maximum charge time to avoid any errors.
Input power monitoringIf
using a 12v battery as DC Input, the input voltage is monitored to
ensure the source is not over-discharged. If it drops below the lower
limit, the program will be ended
automatically.
Data store/loadA
maximum of five battery presets can be stored for the users
convenience. Users can call up these program memories at any time
without any special program setting.
